Sopley Primary UniformSopley Primary School uniform is fun, comfortable and easy to wear.

  • Red jumper, or red sweatshirt, or red cardigan.
  • White shirt or a polo shirt.
  • Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore. (Optional) alternative during the summer term only – a red and white checked dress.
  • Sensible school shoes (preferably black), it is not acceptable for children to wear boots, sandals or trainers in school.
  • Children should bring a coat to school every day – they play and work outdoors throughout the year and the weather can be changeable, even in the summer.
  • PE kit – black or navy shorts, red school or plain red t-shirt, plimsolls for indoors and trainers (optional) for outdoors. PE kit should be kept in a small bag, the traditional drawstring type fit best on school pegs .

Watches are permitted but other jewellery should not be worn to school.  Those with pierced ears should wear stud earrings which must be removed for PE and swimming.

We ask that parents clearly name all uniform and property brought into school.

Suitable uniform without logos may be purchased from any other clothing retailer. The Friends of Sopley School (Parents and Friends Association) have good quality secondhand uniform for sale, please see their notice board – in the playground on the outside wall of Badgers Class.
